Do you know these animals?

So! Here is where we went. Have fun looking around!

It's two babies. Not one. Two.
Watussi? What's a Watussi?

Watch where your pointing that flash!

Got anything good in here?

Ever heard of a Japanese sika?
Me either.

I'm waiting. . . .

ahh, it's a baby. Is he cute to you?

This is my park!
What long horns you have!

Looking waaaay up!

How kind of this lovely animal to pose so nicely for us!

This is MY park!

What a bunch of sleepy heads!

Trying to get the ladies attention...
'blackbuck style' !

I look so pretty!

I have blue eyes. Got it?

What a great bunch of girls!

Feed the goats?
Well. . . .
okay,
as long as they only eat the food!

Kimi may not like touching the goats, but it's clear they have no problems touching her!

Sipping soda together.
Aren't cousins great?

The rare Bongo. Did you know these are endangered?

teasing the ostrich
It's a good thing that there is a window between these two and the ostrich or they may have lost a few fingers or even a hand!

Feeeeeeed meeeeeeee

You can't go until I say so!

Well, if you can name all these animals without looking them up, I'll be very impressed! I'd tell you what they all are, but I can't seem to remember! But we had a great time!

What do the Alamo and the river walk have in common?

They have both been visited by three of the cutest, most adorable little girls ever!!!!

So, We (all who are in this top picture) Went to San Antonio. We had tons of fun, and if you have not seen Kimi's blog, you really should go look at it! She has the Wild animal park pictures on it. (If you go to my profile you can get to her blog- the Importance of being me) I really should get those on mine too, but I figure I can work on that later. These were the ones at the Alamo of course, and also of the river walk. It wasn't a great day, but at least it wasn't overly freezing! Utah's worse, so I really can't complain!

Girls time only!!!

What a big cactus!
(on Alamo grounds)

Hugging by the water fall on the way to the river walk

By the river walk.

Would you believe that one of the most common things we said was "Be careful!" ?

Where's the girls? Can you find them?

Smile?

our summer trip (well, the start at least!)

We went to Utah for the summer and were kept very busy! So I decided to start sharing some of what we did. Here are some pictures from the start (the first week). This week wasn't quite as busy as the rest of the summer (I think because it was spent in prep for the rest of the summer!!!) Anyway, it was fun as you can see. We went to my Grandpa's work picnic (the girls love doing things with Grandpa!!!) We also got to go see Aunt Kimi's new house. The girls loved exploring and playing in the house and the backyard!

Oh, yes this is the beginning of summer (the second week of June!) Yes it was pretty darn cool! We were used to the hot weather of Texas and weren't quite prepared for the cold! But... we survived! It was kind of nice to have a bit of relief from the heat, really! It did get warmer. Later.
