Poor Trace. Yes, he has a broken leg here, but it has healed now. The vet was very impressed with how well we took care of the splint and him. He still favors the leg a bit, but it never slowed him down. (Though there were times I had really wished it would!)

Well, there you are! a short rundown of things that happened in May to the beginning of June (or maybe April to the beginning of June?!) I have to admit, it really isn't in order. it was supposed to be in most recent to earliest, but it didn't quite work. I also know I'm missing a lot of things (such as the zoo with Natalie, Mom and Kimi, and our Chicago trip). I'll get to them sooner or later!) Sorry!

AND NOW, INTRODUCING. . .

'FREYA'S HEART'!!!

Freya is a darling little female papillon that we have added into our family along with Trace, our little male. She is bouncy and loving and loves to cuddle and play and give LOTS of kisses!

She's a girl! Of course she had to have pink!

There's a new member of the Stevens Family! A bouncing 3 1/2 pound little boy! Isn't he adorable? Here you can see him trying out his new bed before going into the house.

As you can see, this is our new puppy! He is a papillon, (don't you just love those ears?) and he is very sweet. We are so excited to have him join our family!

Yes he has a name. It's Shadow Puppet. But that is only the name his breeder gave him. We are in the process of finding a new name for him. Got any ideas? Grant doesn't seem to like mine. I just can't figure out what's so wrong with Mr. Fuzzypants. Do you?
