Home At Last!!!!!

Yes, that's right everyone! Grant is finally home! After 15 long months, it is really good to have him home! (yea, yea, I know, we got to see him just a few months ago, but trust me, it's not the same!)
I know that I have lots of things I really should be posting that really should come first, but...Oh well!!!

Anyway, it was very VERY early in the morning when he came home. He was supposed to come in at 1:30 am and so that was what I planned and I had kept the girls up and we were out shopping and doing other things pretty late. It would really have made no sense to have them go to bed only to get them up a short time later. They would have been too groggy! Well, it turns out that I really should have had them go to bed! Surprise, right? Yeah, well, Grant came in at 4:00 am. We had to be at the gym on post to meet him and we were told to be there at least a half hour early. Poor Mikayla couldn't stay awake any longer! I was impressed that Savannah could! Anyway, we didn't get to go to bed that night (morning?) until about 5:30 am for the girls, and about 6:00 am for Grant and I! Oh well.

Waiting for Daddy.

They were coming in the gym and the girls are watching closely to see if they can spot their Daddy!

Can you?

Together at last!!!

Ok, I didn't get to sleep more than about 5 1/2 hours this morning because of this. Yes, it is Grants new car, and he really couldn't wait to go get it. No, it really isn't warm enough to ride with the top down, but you gotta admit it's easier to see Grant and the girls when it is! Can't wait for warm weather! Yesterday, actually would have been perfect to have it and take the top down, but today was way to cold!

So, really, what do you think of Grant's new toy?!

What do the Alamo and the river walk have in common?

They have both been visited by three of the cutest, most adorable little girls ever!!!!

So, We (all who are in this top picture) Went to San Antonio. We had tons of fun, and if you have not seen Kimi's blog, you really should go look at it! She has the Wild animal park pictures on it. (If you go to my profile you can get to her blog- the Importance of being me) I really should get those on mine too, but I figure I can work on that later. These were the ones at the Alamo of course, and also of the river walk. It wasn't a great day, but at least it wasn't overly freezing! Utah's worse, so I really can't complain!

Girls time only!!!

What a big cactus!
(on Alamo grounds)

Hugging by the water fall on the way to the river walk

By the river walk.

Would you believe that one of the most common things we said was "Be careful!" ?

Where's the girls? Can you find them?

Smile?

Well, Yes, we did go to Chicago for Thanksgiving this year. So, what do you think the girls favorite part was? You got it! Aunt Wendy and Uncle Trent's dog Sasha! Here are some pictures of them with Sasha (who really was a very sweet and well behaved dog- as you can see for these pictures! I do have some other pictures I just haven't loaded them onto my computer just yet, but I will soon! In the meantime enjoy these ones!
Oh, yea! Thank you Wendy for these pictures!! I really appreciate them!

Our trip! (Start at the bottom of this post please to get the pictures in order!)

Eating dinner outdoors on the river walk!

Poison Dart Frog

Kayla and the Giant Clam

Feeding the Dolphins!

We all got a chance to feed these guys!

Mikayla loved the Clydesdale's!

See the furry baby penguin?

Mikayla's blowing kisses and Savannah just wants to go on more rides!

Yum! Cotton Candy!
Well, We went to Sea World! We had tons of fun and did a lot. We saw some shows and a baby penguin (see the fluffy bird among the penguins) and fed the dolphins and saw the Clydesdale's, and watched the sharks, and got to see a baby beluga (sorry- I couldn't get a good picture of that- we only saw it during a show and we were really to far back and didn't realize what it was until to late). We rode some rides (Savannah got upset at Grant because he made her go on the Steel Eel.)

Happy Halloween!!

Hi everyone! Here are the girls Halloween costumes! So, aren't they adorable? Or should I say "enchanting?" They are enchantresses (I think!?) Anyway, I think they turned out pretty well.
